Expansions
In 2015, Epic Piping announced plans to establish an advanced pipe fabrication facility and corporate headquarters in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. The company selected this location because of the quality workforce, proximity to the Interstate 12 corridor, and access to Louisiana’s business-friendly climate, which allowed them to efficiently serve energy and industrial markets across the U.S. The project represented a $45.3 million capital investment in a 200,000-square-foot facility (expandable to 300,000 sq. ft.) and was projected to create 560 direct jobs. Construction began in mid-2015, and commercial operations officially started in late 2016, with advanced robotic fabrication equipment and a fully climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Building for the Future
In 2019, Epic Piping expanded its Livingston Parish operations to meet rising demand across energy, industrial, and data infrastructure markets. This phase included upgraded fabrication lines, enhanced production capacity, and improved workflow systems.
In 2025, Epic Piping announced its latest $25 million expansion to further support natural gas, nuclear power, and data center markets. The project is expected to create 76 direct new jobs and retain 370 existing positions. This expansion includes a new large-diameter production line and upgraded fabrication and testing capabilities. Commercial operations are expected to begin in early 2027. The project is supported by LED FastStart workforce development solutions, $900,000 from the Economic Development Award Program (EDAP), and participation in the state’s High Impact Jobs and Industrial Tax Exemption programs.
Epic Piping’s long-term investment in Livingston Parish has had a transformative impact on the region’s economy and workforce. In 2021, the company’s Livingston facility was honored with a CiCi Award from Trade & Industry Development magazine in the community impact category, recognizing its contributions through capital investment, workforce development, and high-paying job creation. Across three major milestones—the 2015 facility opening, the 2019 expansion, and the 2025 expansion—Epic Piping has invested more than $70 million, added over 212 new direct jobs while retaining 370 existing positions, and created hundreds of additional indirect opportunities.
“Epic Piping has deep roots in Louisiana, and today Louisiana is home to not only this growing world-class fabrication facility, but also our corporate headquarters.”
