BATON ROUGE, La. – The Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership (The Partnership) today opened its 2026 economic outlook survey and invites the Capital Region business community to participate. Responses will be compiled in The Partnership’s 2026 Economic Outlook, a decision-making tool for the organization and businesses throughout the nine-parish region. The survey will remain open through Friday, November 14, at greaterbatonrouge.org/eosurvey.
“The Partnership’s annual economic forecast is a resource for businesses across the Capital Region as they plan for their year ahead,” said Lori Melancon, president & CEO of The Partnership. “Widespread participation is critical in creating the report. I encourage all to complete the survey, as the results will help everyone to better plan and prepare.”
The nine-question economic outlook survey covers revenue and employment forecasting, and top obstacles related to business growth.
The 2026 Economic Outlook report will be published in December online at brbythenumbers.substack.com and will offer insights, analysis, and a forecast of the Capital Region’s economy for the upcoming year.
The Partnership began producing the annual Economic Outlook in 2007. Since its inception, the report has become the market standard for annual regional economic data.
