When PreSonus pursued an expansion with a new corporate headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility, the company looked to the Baton Rouge area for its deep cultural ties to music, access to university talent, and competitive business environment. In 2012, PreSonus announced a $8 million headquarters expansion in East Baton Rouge Parish, establishing a 44,000-square-foot facility designed to support research and development, product testing, and advanced manufacturing. The project created 65 new direct jobs and retained 80 existing positions. Supported by LED FastStart® and state incentive programs, the new headquarters significantly enhanced the company’s ability to innovate, collaborate, and scale production.
A Baton Rouge Success Story with Global Reach

Today, the company remains a key player in the region’s growing technology sector, blending Louisiana’s creative culture with advanced software and hardware innovation.
In recognition of its excellence in manufacturing and community impact, PreSonus received the 2014 Lantern Award from Louisiana Economic Development, highlighting its leadership in innovation, workforce development, and economic growth in the Capital Region.
